Posted:

PINE ISLAND, Minn. (KTTC) -- "Zero energy" is what they call the house that will cost nothing for its homeowners. Owner, Tom Thompson will be making zero dollar energy payments, thanks to the small wind turbine and solar energy panels that work to sustain his house.

This home is the idea behind Steven Wilson's new initiative, "Rally America with jobs and energy". Wilson, Independence Party candidate for U.S. Congress, was at the house speaking about his renewable energy plan for the future of Minnesota.
