For now, Monday Rochester fireworks show is ON

ROCHESTER, MN (KTTC-DT) -- Sunday night, rain postponed the annual 4th of July fireworks in Rochester. Even though it wasn't raining when the sun went down crews needed ample dry weather in order to set up the massive fireworks display. It takes about 12 volunteers and 6-7 hours to set up.

Show sponsor Joe Powers said that it's a process that must be done very carefully and precisely and the most important factor is the safety of everyone involved.

For now, Monday's show is on.  It will begin at 10 p.m.  If anything changes we will let you know on kttc.com and on the KTTC facebook fan page.
