ROCHESTER, Minn. (FOX 47) -- A Winona man is expected to be sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to five counts of criminal vehicular homicide.

Christopher Frisch was originally facing 24 felony charges stemming from a crash that killed five people in May, 2009 along Highway 63 near Stewartville.

According to the criminal complaint, the 26-year-old admitted to drinking six to eight beers before getting behind the wheel.  Frisch's blood alcohol level was .19.

Reporter Fanna Haile-Selassie is in court and says the room is packed.  Judge Joseph Wieners has allowed three hours for the sentencing.  The only survivor of the crash and other family members are scheduled to speak.
