Funeral set in St. Cloud for Minn. soldier

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) -- A funeral is scheduled Monday for a Minnesota soldier who died in Baghdad.

Army Reserve Sgt. Kurt Kruize of St. Cloud died April 4 in a military accident. His father says Kruize was crushed between a truck and a trailer.

Kruize, who was 35, grew up in Hancock, in west-central Minnesota. He leaves behind a wife and four children between the ages of 2 and 13.

A funeral Mass is set for 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. Lt. Gov. Carol Molnau will attend.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty has ordered all U.S. and Minnesota flags be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings in Minnesota, from sunrise until sunset Monday, to honor Kruize.
