Who will represent the DFL and GOP?


Nine months to go until Minnesotans will head to the polls to elect Governor Tim Pawlenty's replacement. Caucuses are being held around the state this evening, as voters try and fizzle down some very crowded gubernatorial candidate fields.

Ten people are trying to become the DFL candidate in the governor's race this November. They are:

Tom Bakk.

Mark Dayton,

Matt Entenza.

Margaret Anderson Kelliher.

Susan Gaertner.

Steve Kelly.

John Marty

Tom Rukavina.

RT Ryback.

Paul Tissen.

The Republican party of Olmsted County has been busy transforming Mayo High School into precinct caucus headquarters.

There are seven candidates on the Republican side. They are:

Bob Carney

Leslie Davis

Tom Emmer

Bill Haas

David Hann

Phil Herwig

Marty Siefert.
