One depressing day

(FOX 47) -- Maybe you're a Vikings fan, or maybe it's just a blah winter day.

If you woke up feeling a little down today, you're not alone.  The Monday of the last full week in January is generally considered the most depressing day of the year.

Most of our holiday decorations are packed away, and the credit card bills are starting to roll in after the holiday season spending spree.

Sounds depressing, right?

Much of the country is under a cloud of cold, damp, darkness... and remember those well-intentioned promises you made New Year's Day?  Many people have already give up and are already back to their old ways.

Psychologists say this theory is based on informal research, but they say anything that gets people talking about their feelings of depression is a good thing.
