Guilty plea in bomb threat case

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A Faribault woman has admitted that she threatened to bomb post offices in southern Minnesota.

Christina Anne Reineke pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of mailing threatening communications. Specifically, the charge says that in February 2009 she sent a letter threatening to kill or injure workers and customers at eight post offices.

The locations include post offices in Mankato, North Mankato, Lake Crystal, Madelia, New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, Le Center, and St. James.

She was originally accused of threatening a total of 16 post offices and the Faribault Daily News.

During a hearing Wednesday she was ordered to stay in federal custody. She'll be sentenced later.
