Man wanted in deadly shooting behind bars in Rochester

ROCHESTER, MN (KTTC-DT) -- A man wanted in a deadly shooting is now behind bars in Rochester.

Abdul-Kadir Mohamud returned to Rochester Saturday afternoon on his own, according to Rochester police and bail bondsman Mark Grandy.

A relative then brought the 24-year-old to the Adult Detention Center around 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Mohamud is facing charges in the shooting death of Ryan Nissalke.

The Rochester man was shot in his home and then pushed through a window on July 20th.

Meanwhile, the other shooting suspect, 20-year-old Muhidin Abukar has since been arrested in Seattle.

We have a crew speaking with police at this time, and will bring you more on the NewsCenter at 10.
