Business owners taking a new risk with a new restaurant

ROCHESTER, MN (KTTC-DT) -- While consumer confidence is at an all time low, it's not stopping local restaurant owner's from taking a risk.

Pescara is the newest restaurant to come to Downtown Rochester.

It's under the same ownership as Chester's: Gus Chafoulias, Scott Foster and Pat Woodring.

While the owners have been busy doing last minute preparations, this St. Patrick's Day is the restaurants first official day of business.

Pescara will have fresh seafood flown in every day.

And co-owner Scott Foster is hoping that Pescara will have the same impact on the community that Chester's has had.

Besides seafood, Pescara will feature filet mingon as well as vegetarian options.

Restaurants employ more than 24-thousand employees in Southeastern, Minnesota.

We talked to the owner of Sontes as well, and she says new restaurants are good for downtown as a whole.
