
OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC-DT) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating a stash of counterfeit cash.
Deputies say an 18-year-old was fishing at Silver Creek Reservoir Monday morning, when he noticed some money laying on the ground.
He could tell the bills were fake and turned them into law enforcement.
There were $160 worth of counterfeit $20 bills in all.
The sheriff's office notified federal authorities of the discovery.
