Students get caught on roof of Byron High School

BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- A couple of students caught on the roof of Byron High School told deputies they just wanted to get away.

Around 9 p.m. Thursday, a school janitor heard footsteps on the roof and rocks being thrown into the parking lot.

He called 911 and deputies found two 17-year-old boys on the roof.

They face criminal trespassing charges.
