NORTH MANKATO, Minn. (AP) -- A wholesale printing company in southern Minnesota says it's eliminating 114 positions.
Carlson Craft of North Mankato made the layoffs Thursday in its effort to adapt to the current economic downturn.
Besides the economy, General Manager Barb Kaus says in a statement that consumers' needs have changed, and that the restructuring is needed to focus on new technology.
The company, which is part of Taylor Corp., makes printed stationery products and personalized accessories.
It was founded as Carlson Letter Service in 1948.
