University of Northern Iowa Athletic Director, Troy Dannen,knows the UNI Domeneeds improvements, but those improvements are still a couple of years away.Dannen told The Des Moines Registerthe Dome renovations, when they are finalized, will be part of a broader campaignandin the areas of a"low eight-figure project."The UNI Dome opened in 1976 with very few renovations since that time.Dannen says the Dome needs wider concourse areas, premium seating and larger restrooms. $1.2 million is being s... University of Northern Iowa head volleyball coach Bobbi Petersen has announced the signing of two more players for the 2014 Panther volleyball squad.The Panthers have added Lexi Astor (Fort Dodge, Iowa/Fort Dodge HS) and Kennedy Gaffney (Urbana, Iowa/Center Point-Urbana HS). Astor is a 5’10” outside hitter, while Gaffney is a 6’0” middle hitter/outside hitter. More>>
