ROCHESTER, MN (FOX 47) -- US Senate candidate Al Franken was in Rochester Wednesday morning for a rally.
Roughly 100 people came to the Rochester Labor Center to hear Franken speak.
Many Minnesotans have already heard Franken say he wants to end the war in Iraq, and how he opposes the policies of the President, as well as his opponant Norm Coleman.
On Wednesday, Franken stressed his plans on how to help foster the middle class, through a new retirement plan, increasing funding for care givers, and updating the Family Medical Leave Act.
Al Franken says, "Buying a home or starting a small business; saving for a secure retirement. It's harder to reach for your dreams when it takes both hands to hold everything together."
