Associated Press - December 26, 2009 1:44 PM ET

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Two people are injured after a drive-by shooting on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a driver was traveling northbound in the right lane when several shots were fired from another northbound car near Dowling Avenue at about 2:30 a.m Saturday.

The driver and a passenger were injured, with non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made and the State Patrol is asking for the public's help.

Captain Matt Langer says investigators believe the suspect's vehicle could be an older, full-size sedan, but the victims were unable to provide other about the vehicle or its driver.
