BERTHA, Minn. (AP) -- An Amish couple and their baby are recovering after an SUV collided with their horse-drawn buggy near Bertha.
The Todd County sheriff's office says the family's buggy was rear-ended by a Jeep Grand Cherokee on a county road shortly after 9 p.m. Monday.
A rural Bertha couple and their 3-month-old son riding in the buggy were taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital.
Sheriff Peter Mikkelson (MY'-kuhl-suhn) tells The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls that he believes the injuries were not serious and that the family has been released from the hospital.
The sheriff says the horse pulling the buggy was hurt but able to walk away, but the buggy was totaled.
The accident remains under investigation.
