WINONA, Minn. (KTTC DT) -- A Minnesota City teenager had died after falling from a truck in Winona.

Police say the 15-year-old fell from the backseat of a moving truck at the intersection of Broadway and Winona Street around 5 a.m. Saturday.

She was taken to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse and passed away Sunday night.

Police aren't sure if she fell or jumped.

The driver of the pick-up truck is a 46-year-old Winona man and police would not confirm any relation to the teenager.

Investigators say the man did not have alcohol in his system and is not facing any criminal charges.
