AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC-DT) -- The Austin Police Department is investigating an attempted abduction that happened Tuesday afternoon at Neveln Elementary School.
The girl told investigators she was walking on 19th Street Northwest near First Avenue, when a red car stopped near the curb and the driver told the girl to get in.
She ran back to Neveln and told staff what happened.
The driver of the car is described as a white male, around 20 years old, with short brown hair and acne.
