DUBUQUE, Iowa (AP) - A Dubuque County jury has found 51-year-old Robert Krogmann of Manchester guilty on charges of attempted murder and willful injury.
The jury handed down its verdict Friday in a Delaware County case that was moved to Dubuque County on a change of venue. Krogmann was accused of the March 13 shooting of his former girlfriend, 49-year-old Jean Smith, at a home south of Dundee.
Krogmann faces a possible maximum sentence of 25 years for the attempted murder charge and 10 years for the willful injury charge.
