ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Minnesota finance officials are mapping federal economic stimulus money spent in the state.
The map was posted on the state's recovery Web site on Thursday.
Minnesota Management and Budget says the map includes details on stimulus projects collected only by the state. It shows the statewide distribution of various stimulus spending categories, such as education, health care, housing and transportation.
The federal Web site, recovery.gov, also shows stimulus spending and job data down to the street level. Unlike the state site, it includes stimulus money going directly to local governments and nonprofits without passing through state administrators.
