MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- It's time for some of the dogs confiscated from a north Minneapolis home last month to get new homes.
More than a dozen of the Shih Tzus are going up for adoption.
Animal control officials rescued 30 Shih Tzus from the home on Oct. 20. Many of the confiscated dogs had health problems, including a broken jaw, dental disease and eye problems.
Minneapolis Animal Care and Control has completed an investigation and turned the case over to the City Attorney's office for possible criminal charges.
