Another local radio host let go

102.5 the FOX morning radio personality Jake Duffy has been let go by Clear Channel Radio.

Jake co-hosted Jake and Tracy in the morning.

For more than 4 years, Jake says he enjoyed spending every morning with such wonderful listeners.

He also says there is no other job that brings him as much joy than doing a morning radio show.

As for the now sole morning show host, Tracy Dixon, Jake wishes her only the best.

Clear Channel sent us this statement:

"Like all media companies, Clear Channel Radio has to adjust its business to the realities of the current economy and advertising market. The changes we've made today complete a process begun in January."

No further comments were made about Jake's position.

In October 2008, KROC radio personalities Megan Kennedy and Steve Skogen were let go.

The layoff of AM Radio personality Tracy McCray followed in February along with KWWK 96.5 deejay Julie Jones.
