BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Amtrak says it's detouring its Empire Builder around three North Dakota communities for at least a week due to flooding.
Spokesman Mark Magliari says the communities of Devils Lake, Grand Forks and Rugby will not have Amtrak service until further notice.
He says passengers are being offered the chance to get off the train in Minot or Fargo.
Magliari says it likely will be several weeks before the tracks will be in shape to resume service to the three communities.
